What an incredible lady

Prerna Tambay - Anandi Gopal Joshi qualify as first Indian lady doctor. However, she never practised medicine due to her premature death just after returning back from America. Rukhmabai Save-Raut was a child bride who wanted to study and she refused to stay with her husband. She was sharply aware that if she went to her in-laws she would not be able to study. Her husband, Dadaji filled petition against her. She agreed to go to jail but refused to give up her dream. At the age of 25 she went to England to do her MD. She practised medicine in Mumbai and in Surat, till the end of her life. What an incredible lady, she deserves her due and loads of respect.
